  Variety.com announced yesterday that a new LIVE action TMNT movie is in the works and will be released…ugh in 2011!! Two years from now…lol oh well I guess I’ll stick to watching TMNT: Back To The Sewers till then.

  Also this movie will be about the origins of the Ninja Turtles (and Master Splinter). But weren’t the origins of the turtles revealed in the TMNT TV series a while back? Utroms?

  Legendary Pictures former chief marketing officer Scott Mednick will be producing this film. He stated that the film “may employ face replacement technology, which would allow the turtles to be much more expressive.” Very nice, I hope that works out.

  I wish I had more info, but that’s all they gave out. I’ll be even more excited when they start sending out pictures, none were posted as of yet.

  IshatOnU gives us a deep inside story on the changes that have effected YouTube and it’s users.

  Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time is set to release this fall 2009 and will be released on the PS3. This is the final sequel to the trilogy of Ratchet and Clank: Tools Of Destruction, it takes off from Quest For Booty.

  Gamespot.com confirms Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is for real and is in the works:

  Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is going to be released on the PSP and the PS2 AGAIN not the PS3 (sorry PS3 users)! Quite a backtrack if you ask me but then again the PS3 is not selling well :/.

  Gamespot.com mentions a “Gun Staff” that will supposedly change into different weapons (sounds like Metroid Prime 3’s add-on beams)

  High Impact Games will be making this one (they had previously made Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters). So far this looks like a great reboot to the Jak and Daxter series! Oh and by the way, the game is said to be released some time this year, so don’t worry about a loong wait.

  The web site is pretty sweet, some of the best flash presentations I’ve seen (for a movie).

  

  Ah sweet, two busters instead of one, this is my favorite shot from the Teaser trailer.

  Here’s the storyline quoted from the web site:

  Well guys I really don’t know what to say, to me it looks like a cross over between Mega Man and Sonic. I really hope Capcom is still cooking up some great idea’s for Mega Man, rumors are flying around about a new game Capcom is making entitled “Shin Rockman”. Not much info is given other then it’s in the works, I’m hoping this game will be epic.

  My apologies everyone the original Zelda post has been moved back here temporarily.

  My Thoughts

  I don’t find this game ,from the looks of the previews, suitable for hard core fans of Zelda. The whole train thing sounds a bit childish for my taste, but everyone has their own opinion, I’m hoping this will turn out well.
